Three years is a long time to wait. Ask any Australian Escape The Fate fan and they’ll tell you exactly how long it’s been. The good news? The wait is finally over — and the Las Vegas post-hardcore legends are bringing Arizona metalcore heavyweights The Word Alive along for the ride.
The tour hits seven dates across June, covering every capital city plus a couple of regional stops because the rest of us exist too. Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne. No excuses.
About Escape The Fate
If you somehow need an introduction — This War Is Ours came out in 2008 and basically rewired the brains of an entire generation of kids who’d just discovered what a breakdown was supposed to feel like. Over twenty years later, Escape The Fate are still doing what they do better than almost anyone else in the game: stadium-wrecking hooks, riffs that hit like a freight train, and choruses you simply cannot not sing along to.
Their 2025 album Redefined is the latest proof that this band has absolutely nothing to prove but keeps proving it anyway. Heavy when it needs to be heavy, anthemic when it needs to soar. Masters of their craft is not an overstatement.
Australian fans have always held a special place in this band’s world, and if their previous runs here are anything to go by, the live show is going to be an absolute event. Fan favourites, massive singalongs, the kind of energy that makes you forget you have work the next morning. You know how this goes.

About The Word Alive
Supporting on all dates are The Word Alive, and if you’re sleeping on them, let this be your wake-up call. The Arizona outfit have spent nearly two decades building one of heavy music’s most loyal fanbases, and their 2018 single Rise sitting at 388 million plays is the kind of number that doesn’t lie. Their live set pulls across the full catalogue — emotionally charged, relentlessly energetic, the kind of performance that turns a room full of strangers into one giant singalong by the second song.
Two of modern metalcore’s most enduring acts on the same bill. Every night. Across the country.
This is one of those tours you catch now or spend 2027 being annoyed you missed.
