Rachel Rampage Returns

Most people who leave an industry stay gone. Rachel Rampage is not most people.

She stepped away for the classic reason – a jealous boy, as she puts it – and spent the next decade doing things like breathing fire, mastering aerial performance, and picking up a ‘Miss Nude World 2025’ title along the way. She also became a professional dominatrix, racked up millions of YouTube views teaching people about kink psychology, and somehow found time to appear in Deadpool. You know. Normal gap year stuff.

Now she’s back in front of adult cameras, taller than you in her platform boots, and very clearly done apologising for any of it. Rachel Rampage 2.0 has arrived – and she’s brought a decade of hard-won experience, a piercing gaze she’s apparently mastered, and a secret project she’s not quite ready to announce yet.

We sat down with her to talk about reinvention, the real psychology behind dominance, consent culture, tattoos, and what it actually takes to tone down your energy for a camera after years of performing for the back row.

An Interview with Rachel Rampage

You first burst onto the scene back in 2016, then vanished from adult screens and went off to conquer the live stage – picking up titles like Miss Nude World 2025 along the way. Now you’re back. So what flipped the switch and made you decide it was time for Rachel Rampage 2.0?

Rachel Rampage: Honestly, I missed it. I was really sad to step away back in 2016 for the classic reason – a jealous boy! I held onto that resentment for a long time and I’m starting to rebuild myself and my life 10 years later.

A lot of performers play dominant characters, but you’re the real deal – a professional dominatrix outside the camera’s gaze. How much does that real-world experience change the energy in a scene when you step into that role?

Rachel Rampage: We all play roles! I just have more experience with that one because I spent so much time in it while I was away from mainstream porn. It certainly helps that I’m 6’4 in my pleaser boots and I’ve mastered a piercing gaze. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot for Kink.com twice now (with 2 more shoots on the books for this year) as a Dominant and I definitely think that my off camera experience contributes to a Femdom scene flowing with ease.

You’ve popped up in mainstream projects like Deadpool and various music videos, which isn’t exactly the typical pipeline into adult entertainment. Do you approach adult scenes more like an actor stepping into a role rather than just showing up to perform?

Rachel Rampage: I find a lot of joy in playing characters. I’d like to have more opportunities to grow in that regard. Back in 2016 I shot a scene for Burning Angel where I played a dumb blonde and I was a really good dumb blonde! People have been surprised to learn that I’m not dumb, or blonde.

Rachel Rampage is a pretty unforgettable name and presence. But where does the persona stop and the real person begin? Or are they basically the same chaotic force of nature?

Rachel Rampage: They’re definitely intertwined. I’m actually pretty sweet and relaxed most of the time but Rampage definitely shows up once I put my heels on.

Your live shows include things like fire breathing, aerial work, and elaborate costumes – basically the kind of stuff that would make a normal stage manager sweat. How does that theatrical chaos translate when the camera starts rolling?

Rachel Rampage: Performing live builds strong nerves and focus. If you can handle an audience in real time, a camera feels less intimidating. However, when you’re on stage you’re performing for the back row so everything must be large and exaggerated. That energy must be toned down for the camera because it already picks up everything, including micro-expressions.

You talk a lot about dominance as something psychological rather than purely physical. For people who only understand the surface-level version of kink culture, what’s the deeper layer they’re usually missing?

Rachel Rampage: Psychological dominance is internal power whereas physical dominance is external. If you put someone in leather cuffs that’s a physical way of restraining them. There’s physical force behind it. If you guide someone’s behaviour through suggestion or influence to want to be restrained, that’s psychological. Combining the two between consenting adults can be utterly intoxicating.

We’ve talked about the camera’s gaze but let’s talk about the ongoing discussion of the male gaze vs the female gaze. When you first got started it’s fair to say that back then the male gaze was more front centre, especially in adult entertainment. But now, thanks to many forms of erotica hitting the mainstream, the female gaze is getting way more attention – which is great to see. Has this changed how you approach your projects or what type of projects you seek to work on?

Rachel Rampage: My audience has always been primarily male so I don’t have a ton of experience with working for the female gaze, although I’m absolutely open to it!

Your YouTube channel has racked up millions of views while diving into topics like dominance, kink psychology, and power dynamics. What made you decide to start pulling back the curtain and actually teaching people about that world?

Rachel Rampage: I was looking for a new project and the idea just sort of came about. I had a lot of fun coming up with the themes for the videos and the research that went into it. And of course, I love being on camera! Ultimately I’ve stepped back from it because I was just being spread so thin juggling everything, but it was fun while it lasted! I wish there were more hours in the day so I could do everything!

When you’re creating content – whether it’s educational videos, interviews, or performances – how do you balance entertainment with actually representing kink culture in a thoughtful way?

Rachel Rampage: Consent!! I’ve lost track of how many men I’ve educated on consent. Most often in lap dance rooms at strip clubs. They’re not always happy about it, but they all learn something. I’d like to think that’s how I represent kink culture through all of my projects – because kink culture is SO HEAVY on consent.

You’re not just returning to the adult entertainment industry – you’re coming back with stage titles, industry credibility, and a growing audience online. Does that change the way you move through the industry compared to when you first started?

Rachel Rampage: I’ve learned It’s important to be mindful when so many eyes are on you. Be careful about the way you speak of others publicly (and privately, to be honest). Ignore the trashy gossip and just keep working.

As a fellow inked person I’ve been dying to ask this question all interview: “Can we talk about your tattoos?” I’d love to know if there’s any significance behind any of your pieces? Emotional or otherwise?

Rachel Rampage: I started getting tattooed at 16 so many of my tattoos act as a timeline of my interests from then to now. My favourite being the hot girl on the back of my leg being held by the grim reaper as he drips hot candle wax on her titties.

So what’s next? More acting? Bigger stage productions? World domination? What should fans be watching for as the next evolution of Rachel Rampage unfolds?

Rachel Rampage: I’ll be saying goodbye to The Great Whi… Oop! Can’t say just yet!
