About H.E.A.T.
Swedish melodic hard rock institution H.E.A.T are returning to Australian stages this April for their first headline run since 2022, hitting Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Three dates. East coast only. No excuses not to miss them. Unless if you live in Perth (HA!).
They’re coming in hot off the back of Welcome To The Future, their 2025 album that has basically broken the brains of everyone who covers AOR and melodic rock. Powerplay Magazine called it not just their best work to date but a genuine contender to raise the bar for everyone else in the genre. That’s the kind of quote that would feel like marketing if the album didn’t actually back it up. Don’t worry, fellow reader, it does!
H.E.A.T have always been a band that sounds arena-ready even when they’re playing a room half that size. Kenny Leckremo out front, Dave Dalone on guitars, Jimmy Jay on bass, Jona Tee holding down keys, Don Crash on drums – this is a lineup that has spent nearly two decades tightening a live show into something genuinely special. Big riffs, harmonies that actually land, the kind of soaring choruses that make you feel like the ceiling just got higher.
The reviews from their last run here said it better than most. May The Rock Be With You basically dared anyone to follow them on a bill. The Rockpit said, simply, that they were captivated for the full hour. That’s not hyperbole – that’s what happens when a band this good is firing on all cylinders.
So here’s where we’re at. You’ve got three chances to catch them. The tour kicks off with a Thursday in Brisbane at Crowbar, a Saturday in Melbourne at Stay Gold, and ends with a Sunday in Sydney at Crowbar. For those OG fans, you’ll be stoked to find out that Welcome To The Future is on the setlist. Just like nearly twenty years of melodic hard rock that’s aged extremely well.
If you’ve seen them before, you’re already buying tickets while reading this. If you haven’t – this is the tour you’ve gotta jump on board with. Don’t let it be another miss you’re still thinking about in 2027.
